If you lost your Thunderstone electric tarp remote or need a new one here are the steps to program it to your Thunder 7000 tarp. The Thunderstone 7000 is the standard Electric Tarp on a Timpte Hopper
- On the Trailer Keypad hold the mode and open button at the same time till the LED light turns green
- Let go of the keypad button and the LED Light should be blinking red
- Then open the remote and the red light should be on on the remote and hold the tarp open button till the LED light on the trailer keypad turns green
- Once the keypad turns green release the hold on the remote and close the remote
- the keypad on the trailer will blink red a few more times to see if you have any other commands for it (like hydraulic trap doors, or Apex hopper Lights).
- when the keypad stops blinking take a step back open the remote and see if the tarp opens or closes.
