It is common for Hopper Gear Rack to erode over time causing your hopper doors to become harder to open. Gear Racks are all 1 -1\/2\" tall (base to top of tooth). Each hopper Door has two Gear Racks. They are universal and can be used on either left side or right side of the door. The Gear Racks come with Flat Head Screws \u0026amp; lock nuts included. These flat head screws can be used in place of a huck when rebuilding your trap door. Gear racks come hucked to the aluminum plate from the Timpte Factory. If you do not know your gear rack size, please remove your trap door and measure you gear rack to be sure you order the correct size. You may also call us, and we can look up your trailer for you by the Vin#. These Gear Racks are all 1 1\/2\" tall (base to top of tooth).  If you own an older Timpte without roller bearings (\"Slider Door\") these gear racks will not work. If you do not have a weld strip on your racks than add 1\" to your measurement to determine correct Gear Rack size.
